AI AND PRIVACY • No Steady account or registration is required. Steady does not ask for your name or email to use AI, but screenshots and text you select may contain personal information. Crop or remove anything you do not want processed. • A dedicated AI disclosure appears during onboarding. Choose Not now to continue without AI; Steady asks again only if you later select an AI feature. Once allowed, the choice stays on this device until you turn it off or the data-use terms materially change. Nothing is uploaded merely because it was selected. • Screenshot copies are cleared from Steady memory after successful analysis, Clear or cancellation, backgrounding, closing the flow, or Quick Exit. After an error, they remain selected only for Retry until one of those events. • A pseudonymous device code, IP address, request status, and limited usage metadata may be processed for security and rate limits. AI service providers may retain limited security or abuse-monitoring records for up to 30 days; flagged image inputs may be retained when required for safety review. • Normal-session information is encrypted on this device. Private Session is memory-only and does not offer AI. • Turn AI off, export selected data, or delete all local Steady data at any time.
