Nobody told you they should not meet on the same night, because the label lists forty ingredients in six-point type. Decant reads the labels for you. SCAN YOUR SHELF Point the camera at a barcode and Decant pulls the product name and ingredient list. No barcode, photograph the back of the bottle and the ingredients are read on your phone. Still nothing, pick the category and tick the actives yourself. Every product ends up on the same editable card. KNOW WHAT CLASHES Retinol and exfoliating acids on the same night wear down your barrier. Benzoyl peroxide cancels retinol. Pure vitamin C fights with both. Too many acid nights in one week is a clash on its own. Decant shows the pair, says why in one sentence, and offers to move one of them to another night. Tap once and the week rearranges itself. SEE THE WEEK Your routine sits in a seven-day strip. Retinol Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Acid on the nights between. Rest nights stay empty on purpose. Morning and evening, every day, chosen days or every third day. CHECK YOUR SKIN Tick what you feel: oiliness, dryness, breakouts, sensitivity, redness, dark spots, pores, fine lines. Add one photo if you like. Decant compares your answers with the photo and tells you where they disagree. It then looks at your own shelf and points out a product that may be contributing, such as an exfoliant you use five nights a week while your skin feels dry. Finally it lists the product groups that are missing. Groups, never brands, and never a diagnosis. The photo is used once and is not kept. AVOID WHAT BOTHERS YOU Mark the ingredient families you steer clear of: fragrance, essential oils, alcohol, parabens, lanolin, sulfates and more. Decant flags them the moment a product with that ingredient lands on your shelf. TRACK WHAT EXPIRES Sunscreen loses strength. Vitamin C oxidises. Decant counts the months from the day you opened the bottle and reminds you at thirty days and at seven. REMINDERS THAT STAY QUIET One notification a day at most, for the evening routine. No streaks, no win-back messages, no promotions. WHEN DECANT SAYS NOTHING If a product's actives are unknown, Decant leaves it out of the clash check and marks it.
