Build a mobile network, one mast at a time. Overline is a strategy game about the thing under every phone call: the network. Pick a city, buy spectrum, put up masts, and watch the signal spread over real terrain. Hills block it and valleys hold it, because the map is built from real elevation data for 47 cities. Four bands, four trade-offs. 700 MHz reaches for miles and carries a village; 26 GHz covers a street and carries a stadium. Choose the height, aim the antenna, and hold your finger on the map to see exactly what a site would cover before you pay for it. You are not alone. Rivals buy spectrum, build, undercut your price and, if you let them, buy you out. Win the customers, keep the margin, and consolidate the market, or get consolidated. CAMPAIGN Fifty missions across the world's cities, each a set problem with a fixed opening, one thing to achieve, and a clock. DAILY CITY A fresh city every day and two years to build the biggest network you can. Everyone gets the same city and the same seed. WEEKLY KIT Eight pieces of equipment in play each week, out of thirty-two: sector antennas, microwave hops, rooftop sites, spectrum leases, neutral hosts. What is legal changes every Monday, and so does the best plan. THE BOARD Once a year the board sets a mandate. Deliver it and they fund you. Miss it and they cut your budget. PLANNING Some districts will not take a tall mast without an application. Some will not mind at all. Learn which is which. Six cities are free, one on every continent, along with the first campaigns.
