Pinyin Island: Learn Chinese

Welcome to Pinyin Island! Pinyin Island is a friendly Chinese Pinyin learning app designed for children ages 4–8. Through short, interactive lessons, children can recognize Pinyin sounds, listen to examples, follow pronunciation guidance, and practice with simple choices. The current version includes: - 37 lessons covering vowels, initials, reviews, challenges, and basic blending; - blending, listening choices, and temporary recordings of up to three seconds for read-along comparison; - Bubble, Blending Train, and Tone Race practice games; - categorized Pinyin reference tables with common syllables; - lesson ratings, daily tasks, star rewards, eight achievements, and study history; - an arithmetic-gated parent area with free learning and local data deletion; - bundled lessons and audio that work offline; - a landscape-first experience for iPhone and iPad. The free version includes the a, o, and e lessons; a ba blending sample; a/o/e Read Along and listening practice; Pinyin Bubble; and a/o/e Pinyin details. A one-time, non-subscription purchase permanently unlocks the remaining content and supports Family Sharing and restoration. The App Store confirmation sheet shows the actual localized price. Pinyin Island turns learning into a gentle loop: learn a little, try it right away, and receive encouragement. Large controls, clear visuals, and friendly feedback make it suitable for children and parent-child learning time. Read-along recordings are used only for immediate local playback and deleted on replacement, leaving the screen, or interruption. Recordings are never uploaded, recognized, or scored.
