About
Rover Route is an offline logic puzzle about planning a full route before anything moves. You operate a small exploration rover. Study the grid, build a queue of commands, then press run. The rover executes every instruction in order, exactly as you placed it. Reach the beacon and the route is complete. Hit a rock, leave the map, or run out of energy, and you go back to the queue and try again. Nothing is random. The same board and the same queue always produce the same result, so every failure tells you something true about your plan instead of about your luck. HOW IT PLAYS Read the board first. Rocks, gates, switches and one way lanes decide which paths are possible. Build the queue. Forward, Turn Left, Turn Right and Interact are the only four tools you get. Respect the surface. Road costs one energy, sand costs two, ice keeps the rover sliding until something stops it. Run the plan. Pause the execution, skip the animation, or switch speed between normal and fast. Adjust and repeat. Undo the last edit, clear the queue, or reset the puzzle at any moment. FOUR COMMANDS, NINE SURFACES Forward moves one tile in the current direction. Turn Left and Turn Right rotate ninety degrees without spending energy or leaving the tile. Interact activates whatever sits directly ahead of the rover. The board answers with nine terrain types. Road is the cheap default. Sand doubles the cost of entry. Ice refuses to stop the rover until it leaves the ice or meets an obstacle. One way lanes accept traffic from a single direction. A switch opens the gate that guards the last stretch. Rock blocks everything. The beacon ends the route. WHY IT FAILED, IN PLAIN WORDS Every failed run names its reason. A rock blocks the route. The rover left the mapped area. The rover entered a one way lane from the wrong direction. There is not enough energy for this move. The gate is still closed, find the switch first. There is no switch directly ahead. The sequence ended before the beacon. The command that broke the run is highlighted in the queue, so the next attempt starts from knowledge, not guessing. WHAT IS INSIDE 30 handcrafted route puzzles across three regions: Dust Valley, Glacier Reach and Signal Ridge. No generated filler. A new Daily Route every calendar day, always replayable, kept separate from your main progression, with your best result for that date stored on the device. A Command Lab with a free practice board that never touches your progress. A Terrain Field Guide with the rule and the energy cost of every surface. A result screen with commands used, energy remaining, and the best known solution length to beat. An expedition map of completed, current and locked routes, with a continue card pointing at the next unfinished puzzle. BUILT WITHOUT THE USUAL NOISE No ads. No in app purchases. No account, no sign in, no profile to create. No internet connection required at any point. No timers, no lives, no daily energy to wait for. Play one route or twenty. WHO IT IS FOR People who prefer planning over reflexes. If you like programming style puzzles, route optimization, or a short daily challenge that fits a commute with no signal, this is built for you. There is no reaction test anywhere. You can stare at a board for ten minutes and lose nothing. PRIVACY Rover Route collects nothing. There is no analytics, no tracking and no server. Progress, daily results, nickname and preferences stay on your device and go nowhere else. Clear Data in Settings removes all of it permanently. ACCESSIBILITY AND COMFORT Terrain is communicated through color, shape, texture and icons together, never color alone. Controls carry VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type is supported where the layout allows, and Reduced Motion replaces movement with short crossfades. Haptics and sound can each be switched off.
HOW IT PLAYS
Read the board first.
FOUR COMMANDS, NINE SURFACES
Forward moves one tile in the current direction.
WHY IT FAILED, IN PLAIN WORDS
Every failed run names its reason.
