About
Read at the lens. Tally is a teleprompter that records you at the same time, so your eyes stay where they belong. WRITE IT A plain editor with a word count and a read time, so you know how long a script runs before you stand in front of it. Mark a pause or a direction with // — the prompter shows it to you and keeps it out of the take. ROLL IT The script scrolls at a pace you set in words per minute, or follows your voice instead. Recognition happens on your device. Hold to think, step back a sentence, carry on — Tally joins the pieces into one take. FRAME IT Blur the room behind you or drop in a backdrop. It happens live, while you record, not afterwards. SECOND SCREEN With the camera on you, the phone's screen faces a wall. So put the panel on a laptop instead — tally lamp, timecode, pace and the controls — over your own wifi. Nothing leaves the room. WRITERS' ROOM Bring a sentence, get questions back, then a researched first draft. Or hand it a script you already have and ask for a rewrite. Your scripts and takes stay on your iPhone, or in your own iCloud. Writers' room subscription: monthly or yearly, auto-renewing until cancelled. The first three drafts or revisions are free.
