Metly - Timestamped METAR

Every Metly widget is time-stamped: it shows the observation and how many minutes old it is. If a report is 40 minutes old, it says so. It never dresses up an old number as a new one. That is the whole idea. A METAR is issued about once an hour, and iOS decides when a widget gets to refresh. No app on your phone changes either of those. So Metly does the honest thing instead: it puts the age right next to the numbers and lets you decide whether to trust what you are looking at. HOME SCREEN - Small: identifier, flight category in text and color, wind, visibility, age - Medium: adds temperature, dew point, altimeter and sky condition - Large: five airports in one list, or the full raw report with nothing cut off LOCK SCREEN - Circular, rectangular and inline, each drawn for its own shape instead of one layout squeezed three ways - Rectangular can carry two airports, one line each, for departure and destination WHEN DATA GETS OLD - Under 75 minutes: shown normally - 75 minutes to 3 hours: values stay, marked STALE - Over 3 hours: the numbers come off and you get the last observation time instead - No connection: the last observation you received, with its age. Never a blank widget IDENTIFIERS THAT ACTUALLY WORK Type 06C, I69, KORD or kord. Autocorrect, auto-capitalize and smart substitution are switched off in the field, so your training field does not turn into something else while you type. ICAO and FAA identifiers both work. NEAREST AIRPORT Switch on Nearest airport in the widget's own settings and it picks the closest reporting station to you. To find them it asks aviationweather.gov for the stations inside a rough box around you - not your exact position, and nothing about you is stored or sent anywhere else.
