About
PitScribe is an offline BBQ cook log for keeping a busy smoker session organised without turning it into a spreadsheet. TRACK EVERY MEAT Add several meats to the same cook and keep an independent timer for each one. Record a name, notes and your own temperature target so brisket, ribs, pork and other cooks can follow different timelines. LOG THE MOMENT Add a temperature reading or mark a spritz, wrap, refuel or rest with a quick event. PitScribe keeps those events together on the cook timeline so you can see what happened and when. REUSE YOUR SMOKER SETUP Save smoker profiles for the equipment and setup details you want to remember. Use them on later cooks instead of starting from a blank page. LEARN FROM HISTORY Search saved cooks, review their timelines and compare earlier results. Your notes and ratings help you decide what to repeat or change next time; PitScribe does not invent a score or food-safety verdict. KEEP YOUR RECORDS PORTABLE Cook data is stored locally on your device. Export your records as CSV, JSON or readable text and choose the destination through your device's share options. No PitScribe account or developer cloud is required. OPTIONAL REMINDERS Set local reminders when you want a prompt outside the app. Reminder permission is optional and does not unlock a paid feature. FREE, WITH ADS Every core feature is free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, trials, paywalls or paid-only tools. Advertising supports PitScribe and is designed to stay away from critical timer and logging actions. IMPORTANT Temperatures and targets in PitScribe are entered by the user and are personal reference points only. PitScribe does not measure temperature, determine doneness or provide food-safety advice. Use a reliable thermometer and follow current guidance from an appropriate food-safety authority.Read more
