My Language Teacher is a simple language-learning app that uses AI to help you learn and improve foreign languages. Enter a sentence or word in the language you're learning, and your AI Teacher will help you understand and improve it. For sentences, the app checks grammar, spelling, and unnatural expressions, suggests corrections, and shows both Casual and Polite / Formal ways to express the same idea. When you enter a single word, the app provides meanings, pronunciation information, and simple example sentences. Pronunciation guides are adapted to each language, such as IPA for English, romaji for Japanese, and pinyin for Chinese. Set your native language and up to two languages you want to learn. For example, if you set Japanese as your native language and English and Chinese as your learning languages, you can enter an English sentence and receive corrections and explanations along with natural expressions in both Japanese and Chinese. About the OpenAI API My Language Teacher requires your own OpenAI API key. Your API key is securely stored in the Keychain on your device. Sentences and words you enter are sent to the OpenAI API to generate responses. OpenAI API usage may result in separate charges to your OpenAI account.
