Brelo is an iOS utility app designed for sourdough enthusiasts. Centered on the concept of a "kitchen diary," it helps users systematically manage starter maintenance, master professional recipes, precisely control fermentation timing, and analyze crumb quality using AI technology. The app features a starter feeding log that records ratios, flour types, and notes, preserving historical data to track the starter's health and activity. It includes eight professional sourdough recipes—covering classics such as country bread, rye bread, focaccia, ciabatta, and pizza dough—each accompanied by a hydration visualization chart, a baker's percentage ingredient list, and step-by-step instructions. The fermentation timer module offers independent timers for five standard process stages and includes a Desired Dough Temperature (DDT) calculator that determines the precise water temperature needed based on parameters like flour and starter temperatures. Additionally, the AI ​​crumb analysis feature allows users to upload or photograph the bread's cross-section to automatically analyze the crumb structure and fermentation status, providing professional suggestions for improvement.
