Open your own EPUB, PDF, FB2 or text file — then ask about the page you are on and get an answer quoted from the book itself. Litra is a reader for the books and documents you already have, with Orb: an in-book companion that searches the real text before it answers. Ask "who is this character again?", "what did I miss last chapter?" or "explain this paragraph" — by typing, or by holding the orb and saying it out loud. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT Orb does not answer from a vague memory of the title. It searches and reads actual passages of the file on your phone, then shows you where the answer came from. And in a novel, if the answer lies past where you have read, it asks permission first instead of spoiling it. It includes unlimited offline listening, speed reading, questions by voice, and a monthly allowance of Orb credits for asking questions; extra credit packs are available if you want more. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the end of the free trial. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. When you ask Orb a question, that question and the passages Orb needs to answer it are sent to our server and on to our model providers to produce the answer. We do not train models on your books.
