Platedex is the classic American license plate game for the whole car. Someone spots a plate from another US state, you tap it, and it lands in your sticker book. That is the whole loop: one tap, no forms, no accounts, and it works with no signal at all. Every plate is worth points by distance. From Ohio, a Pennsylvania plate is a Common +1, Texas is Rare +5 and California is Legendary +9, because the further a car drove to pass you, the rarer the catch. Tell Platedex where home is once and it scores every sighting for you, with rarity stickers from Common to Legendary. Prefer the classic version? Switch to one point per plate. Play as one team, or race each other. In Team mode the car shares one collection and every plate counts once. In Race mode each player keeps their own list, so the kids can chase the same California plate and the scoreboard settles who is winning. Tapped the wrong tile? Undo it in one tap. Each road trip is its own game.
