PDF-France brings together the everyday PDF tools in an app that transmits nothing. Merge, split, sign, recognise text: it all happens on your iPhone. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY PUT No file is sent to a server. Processing is entirely local, text recognition and compression included. Only two features reach the internet: converting a web page to PDF, which must download the requested page, and the store, which queries the App Store. ORGANISE • Merge several documents into one • Split page by page or by ranges (1-3, 5, 8-10) • Reorder pages by dragging • Rotate, delete and extract pages • Crop OPTIMISE • Compress at three levels, with the saving shown before you save • Text recognition (OCR): a scan becomes a searchable document • Compression keeps the text layer, so the document stays searchable EDIT AND SIGN • Highlight, underline, strike through, add notes • Draw with a finger or Apple Pencil • Sign a document by hand or from an image • Fill in an existing form, create fields, flatten the values • Page numbers, text or image watermarks SECURE • Password-protect, or remove an existing protection • Redact for real: hidden content is removed from the file, not simply covered with a black rectangle CONVERT • Images to PDF, from Photos, Files or the camera • Scan a document with automatic edge detection • Web page to PDF • PDF to images, text or Markdown WORK IN BATCHES Chain several actions — OCR, compression, watermark — and apply them to several documents at once. Originals are never modified. WHAT IS FREE, WHAT IS PAID Every week you get fifteen processes, thirty imports and fifteen exports for free. Viewing, renaming, tagging, deleting and sharing your documents never uses quota. Beyond the free allowance, coins can be bought and exchanged for extra credits, and those credits never expire. ICLOUD, IF YOU WANT IT Sync is off by default. When enabled, it uses your private iCloud space, which only you can access. You can also share a document with people you choose.
