About

Roll one die and keep it, or spend a Second Chance and roll a second — then pick which of the two you actually move. That one decision turns snakes and ladders from a game of pure luck into a game you can play well. SECOND CHANCE DIE Every board rations them: five on Garden Path, one on Serpent's Crown. Each costs 25 coins, and coins are also what unlock the next board — so spending to win the match in front of you costs progress toward the next one. The question is never which die. It is when. ELEVEN BOARDS, ELEVEN MECHANICS 0. Classic — one die, pure luck, the original board. Never locked, never changes. 1. Garden Path — the gentle starter course. 2. Bamboo Grove — ladders everywhere; plan your climbs. 3. Rocky Ridge — long snakes. One bad roll costs you the board. 4. Sunset Dunes — sand tiles slide you a square either way. 5. Jungle Canopy — one enormous python runs the height of the board. 6. Frozen Falls — ice keeps you sliding until you find grip. 7. Ember Caves — snakes far outnumber ladders. 8. Storm Peaks — storm tiles swap your place with whoever is leading. 9. Ancient Ruins — gates that open only on an exact roll. 10. Serpent's Crown — the guardian snake moves between rounds. SNAKES THAT ARE ACTUALLY DRAWN The board is not a picture. Every snake and every ladder is rendered by the game itself, so the snakes breathe, blink, flick their tongues, and the one that catches you rears up and opens its jaws. Get bitten and you are paid a consolation scaled to how far you fell — the longer the drop, the bigger the payout. TWO TO FOUR PLAYERS Pass one device around with up to three friends, or fill the empty seats with computer opponents at four skill levels. The match does not end when the first player gets home; everyone races for second, third and fourth. STARS, COINS AND TASKS Three tasks per board — speed runs, dodging bites, chaining ladders — plus daily goals. Stars gate progression and can never be spent; coins do the spending. PLAYS ANYWHERE, NO ACCOUNT No sign-in, no account, no chat, no player-to-player messaging. Nothing is downloaded while you play, so a plane, a car or a tablet with no SIM plays exactly the same. MADE FOR FAMILIES Big outlined numbers that stay readable, colour-blind-safe player names, and full support for Reduce Motion. ADVERTS Coil & Climb is free and carries adverts from Google AdMob. They are never personalised. If you tell us you are under 13 — or do not answer — the game shows only opt-in rewarded video and no banners or interstitials at all. Nothing you need to progress is ever behind an advert, and a rewarded video pays out even if the advert fails to load.Read more
