Duneed: Receipt to Pantry

Duneed turns one photo of your shopping receipt into a pantry you actually keep. Most pantry apps ask you to scan a barcode for every tin, or type it all in. You do it for a week and then stop. Duneed reads the receipt instead: photograph it once and every item lands in your inventory, sorted into categories, with the price you paid. SCAN ONCE, NOT TWENTY TIMES Photograph a paper receipt, or take a screenshot of a digital one. Duneed reads the items, groups them by category and puts them on your shelf. You check the list and save — it is your inventory, so you can rename anything, fix a price or drop a line before it is filed. KNOW WHAT IS ACTUALLY HOME Your pantry, sorted by category and searchable. Add an expiry date to anything that has one and Duneed reminds you before it turns, in one quiet evening notification rather than a stream of alerts. SEE WHAT THE MONTH COST Because the receipt carried the prices, your spending adds itself up: this month's total, how it compares to last month, and which categories it went to. Items you add by hand count too, as long as you enter a price. AND WHAT IT COST YOU IN THE BIN When something leaves the pantry, Duneed asks whether you used it or threw it away. That one question turns into the number no shopping app can show you: what you binned this month, what share of your spending it was, and which category it came from.
