VEER: One Touch Arcade

VEER is a dot that cannot go straight. Touch the screen and it curls left. Let go and it curls right. To go straight you have to pulse your thumb — and the rhythm of your taps becomes an analog steering wheel with infinite resolution. Keep the dot inside a corridor that narrows, bends and tightens forever. Runs last ten seconds to a minute and a half. Death is instant, the next touch is already the next run, and every death is legible: you see the wall you hit, the path you should have taken, and the last 1.5 seconds of your own thumb. EXTREMELY HARD, NEVER UNFAIR Every corridor is generated on the fly and proven passable by a solver before it ever appears on screen. If you die, it was your thumb — never the geometry. EVERYTHING IS PROCEDURAL No drawings, no recordings. The walls are mathematics, the colours rotate with the musical key, the synth is played by your own touches, and the ribbon the dot leaves behind is a visible record of your input: masters leave calligraphy, beginners leave saw teeth.
