A photograph holds its look for a day, then turns slowly over two more to a warm black and white, and stays that way. The photograph itself is never edited: the photograph you took is the photograph you keep. One year later, on the day it happened, the moment returns in color for the day. Every year, on that day. Every moment is numbered in the order you kept it, and a number is never reused. Add who was there, what it was, and a line worth keeping, any time before the color goes. The camera inside the app is the only way in. There is no import. A photograph is given one of three looks as it is taken, Original, Film or Vivid, and that is the last decision anyone makes about it. That is what keeps the ledger a record of what happened rather than a collection assembled later. Send a moment to someone nearby, and once they accept, it goes straight into their ledger.
