Description
Wondering what an IOP is, or where to find one near you? Groupicorn helps you explore intensive outpatient programs (IOP). You can plan a tour, and find peer connection when you’re ready.
IOP and PHP are forms of structured outpatient care. Depending on the program, they may include group sessions, individual appointments, and help building coping skills. You attend treatment without staying overnight it's more like a co-working space. Groupicorn makes it easier to learn about your options and take the next step.
EXPLORE PROGRAMS
Browse a directory of IOP locations on a map. See addresses, levels of care, program details, schedules when available, staff profiles, and reviews. Save programs you want to revisit. Directory information is for research; confirm services, availability, and costs with each provider.
PLAN A TOUR
Call a program to arrange a tour, then save the time you agree on in Groupicorn. See your upcoming tours in one place and add a tour to your calendar.
FIND YOUR HERD
If you’re already a client, or you’ve arranged a tour, you can choose to join that location’s herd where available. Chat one to one or with your herd, and find casual meetup spots. Joining is optional, and you can explore programs and read reviews without joining a herd.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK
Do I need an IOP?
If you’re looking for more structure, support, and a place to go during the week, an IOP may be worth exploring. Programs can offer a weekday routine and a sense of connection. A care professional can help you decide what level of support fits your situation.
Is IOP rehab?
Not necessarily. Some programs focus on addiction, while others support people dealing with depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns. Each program is different, so ask what it treats and whom it serves.
How much does it cost?
Your cost depends on the program and your insurance, including your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. It may be low if you’ve met your plan’s limits, or substantial if you haven’t. Ask the program and your insurer for an estimate before enrolling.
Do I need to take medical leave?
It depends on your needs, job, and the program’s schedule. Some people take time off when they start; others return to work while attending. Some programs may have space to work between sessions. Ask a program how its schedule could fit your day.
