A key stage 2 revision app for Year 6 primary school children coming up to taking SATS — the ten and eleven year olds sitting their tests in May. It practises maths, grammar, punctuation, spelling and reading against the Year 6 national curriculum, works out which topics keep going wrong, and spends the time there. Ten minutes a day as a regular habit A revision timetable counts backwards from test week and asks for something every day: a short warm-up, then the mix today needs. Streaks reward turning up, and rest days are built in so one busy evening does not wipe out weeks of work. Wrong answer analysis to structure the revision Every answer updates a picture of what your child can do, topic by topic across 98 skills. Questions come back on a spaced schedule — sooner for the shaky ones, later once they have stuck. A focus session serves nothing but the topics that keep going wrong. The best spelling test out there! Ten words from the statutory Year 5 and 6 list, read aloud one at a time with ten seconds to write/type each — the way the real spelling paper is administered. Words spelt correctly come round less often; words that keep going wrong are repeated. Squared paper for maths Long multiplication and division get a proper working grid with carry boxes, so a child can set the sum out as they would on paper instead of holding it in their head. Practice papers in full All six papers a child actually sits, at their real lengths, including the spelling paper read from recordings and three reading texts to work through. The arithmetic is generated fresh every time, so it never runs out. Built with tech savvy kids in mind (and those who try to give their answers an artificial boost!) The app has its own keyboard: no autocorrect, no predictive text and no microphone, so a spelling answer is the child's own. It notices when they leave mid-question, and works with Guided Access to keep them in the app. So they can't cheat that easily!
