About
Your child counts carrots, traces a number with a finger, and works out how many are left when two hop away. Finish a round and a star goes on the board. Ten stars crack the egg open, and a dinosaur they have never seen before hatches into their album. There are eight dinosaurs. A day holds three stars, on purpose — the egg is meant to take a few days, like the sticker chart on the fridge. Nothing here can be bought, hurried, or paid for. And there is no advertising, no in-app purchase, and no network code at all. CountPlay works in airplane mode and cannot show your child anything you did not install. Nothing about your child leaves the device. WAYS TO PLAY • Count the objects and tap the number • Trace numerals with a finger • Match a quantity to its numeral • Which group has more? • Adding and taking away within ten, with things you can see • Putting 1 to 20 in order COLLECTING, NOT SPENDING • A star is earned by finishing a whole round — two when every answer was right the first time • Ten stars hatch a dinosaur into the album; eight to find • A grown-up sets how many stars a day can hold, so the reward stays scarce MADE FOR SMALL HANDS • Big targets, spoken and pictured prompts — no reading required • No timers, no scores to lose, no fail state; a wrong answer just tries again • A grown-up area behind a question a young child cannot answer, holding each child's progress and difficulty WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No subscription.
