Your phone says it's full and won't say why. I will. First the part nobody in this aisle says out loud: no photo is deleted here for good. Whatever goes, goes to Recently Deleted, and the phone keeps it there for thirty days. The space comes back when you empty that album. I'll take you there and show you how. Every tool in here works for free, with ads. Pay once and the ads are gone for good. Room I look through your photos and videos and split what I find in two: what can go without losing a picture, and what is your only copy. The first half is the safe half, and that is where I ask you to start. The tools, all on one screen: similar shots, hidden burst frames, the ones that didn't come out, screenshots, screen recordings, Live Photos, heavy photos, panoramas, 4K videos, long videos, shrink photos, shrink videos. Shrinking loses nothing. A video comes back at Full HD, HD or small, every frame still there, and it stays on the phone. Photos the same. A video recorded in the older format can also keep its resolution and just move to the newer, lighter one. The original waits until you say otherwise. Similar shots are laid out in sets, with the best frame marked, a sharpness bar under each one and a sentence saying how much sharper the keeper is. Disagree and tap another. "Keep this one instead" is one tap, not a hidden gesture. Sort Your library one photo at a time, one month at a time. Two hundred is a month, and a month has an end. Files The folders you show me, the caches apps left lying about in them, and my box. Whatever you're not sure about, put it in the box first. I'll hold it for seven days. In those folders I also find the big and forgotten: the biggest files, old downloads, doubles. A file already in iCloud Drive can live there only, with no copy taking room on the phone. What I can't do I can't see other apps or the junk they leave. iOS doesn't let one app look inside another. I can't clean System Data. No app can, from the inside. I can't delete a photo permanently. Every photo delete in here means moved to Recently Deleted, and the space comes back thirty days later, or sooner if you empty the album yourself. Photo sizes are my estimate. The phone won't tell an app what a photo weighs, so those numbers carry a ≈. Everything else is measured. If you have iCloud Photos switched on, deleting here takes the photo off every device you own, not just this phone. That's how the phone works, not something I can change. The ads do go online: Google's ad network gets information about your device, never your photos.
