Ericolour: Colouring for Kids

Ericolour is a colouring book for children, built for iPad and for one child in particular. Everything in it is unlocked from the first tap. There is nothing to unlock later, nothing to wait for, and nothing asking your child to come back tomorrow. And with every iteration new drawings will arrive. Every month. Tap inside any shape and it fills with colour. That is the whole idea, and a six-year-old works it out in about four seconds. WHAT YOUR CHILD GETS • 665 hand-checked line drawings across 46 themes — animals, dinosaurs, vehicles, space, food, fairy tales, robots, professions and more • 24 colours, chosen to look like a real crayon box • Eight paint styles: solid, shade, dots, rings, checks, stripes, rainbow and glitter — every one works with the fill tool and the brush • A brush in three thicknesses, and an eraser that understands both taps and strokes • 428 stickers in eight sets, each one movable, resizable and rotatable • Undo and redo, a hundred steps deep • Difficulty badges, so an easier page is easy to find Work saves itself. Close the app mid-picture and it is exactly where your child left it. Colour the same page again and the earlier version is kept, not overwritten.
