Finn Photo Vault: Hide Photos

Finn keeps your photos, videos and messages behind one PIN. Everything is encrypted on your phone before it goes anywhere. VAULT • Photos and videos are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the device. The plaintext is never written to disk. • A gallery that works the way you expect: multi-select, albums, collections, your own tags. • Search the text inside your pictures. Recognition runs on the phone, and no image is uploaded for it. • Edit and anonymise: crop, rotate, cover a face or a number plate, drop a sticker on it. Saving writes a new image without the old metadata. • Play encrypted video straight from the vault, with no temporary copy written while it runs. • Deleting destroys that file's key. Every file has its own, so once the key is gone the file cannot be read again. PRIVATE BROWSER • Tabs run incognito, with ad and tracker blocking done on the device. • Save a picture or a video into the vault with one tap. It never passes through your camera roll. • Finds video on pages that bury it inside a player. ENCRYPTED CHAT • Messages use the Signal Protocol. While one is being delivered we hold ciphertext and no key for it. • Send photos and video out of the vault without decrypting them to your camera roll first. • Decide per file whether the other side can save it, whether it disappears after one look, whether it opens blurred, and whether screenshots are blocked. IF SOMEONE MAKES YOU OPEN IT • A second PIN opens a second vault with its own pictures, chats and browsing history. A complete vault, not an empty room. • A panic gesture locks everything at once. • Screenshots are blocked by default and the app locks itself when you put it down. WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO No account. No email address, no phone number. No analytics, no trackers, no advertising. Your files are encrypted before they reach us, and what sits on our servers is ciphertext. Deletion is cryptographic: the key goes, and the file stops being readable. We would rather say that plainly than promise something we cannot keep.
