Key and BPM for the crate you already own. Point Cratekey at the audio files on your device and you get a crate list with the key in Camelot, the BPM, the length and the loudness. Analysis runs entirely on the device; your audio is never sent to a server. WHAT THE ANALYSIS GIVES YOU • Batch analysis — hand it a folder's worth of files and let it work through them • Camelot, Open Key or standard notation, switched whenever you like • What mixes next — same key, one step around the wheel, and the relative major/minor, kept in separate groups so you can see which is which • Export — CSV for the whole crate, plus a beatgrid file with the anchor, BPM, meter and beat position • Loudness (LUFS) and track structure WHAT IS FREE AND WHAT CRATEKEY PRO ADDS Importing, key and BPM analysis (up to 20 tracks), the ×2 / ÷2 and manual BPM fixes, flipping to the relative key, switching notation, and browsing, sorting and searching the crate are free. Unlimited batch analysis, what-mixes-next suggestions, CSV and beatgrid export, and track structure and loudness are part of Cratekey Pro (one-time purchase). WHEN THE ANALYSIS GETS IT WRONG Key and BPM detection is not infallible, and Cratekey does not pretend otherwise. Drum & bass and other fast material often comes back at half speed — tap ×2. Major/minor (relative key) mix-ups can be corrected by flipping to the relative key; the harmonic matches are then worked out again from the corrected key. Anything you fix by hand is kept, and no re-analysis will overwrite it. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • DRM-protected tracks — Apple Music and other streaming downloads — cannot be analyzed. Cratekey works on audio files you keep on the device. • Analysis runs while the app is open. A large crate takes a while, so leave Cratekey in the foreground and let it finish. • The CSV and beatgrid are files you can read, script against, or feed into a conversion tool.
