Temple360 helps devotees automatically count pradakshina (circumambulation) laps around a temple — no more losing count or breaking your focus to tally laps by hand. HOW IT WORKS Set your target number of laps, tap Start, and walk. Temple360 uses your phone's GPS together with its step sensor to detect when you leave the starting point, walk a genuine clockwise loop, and return — automatically counting each completed pradakshina as you go. KEEPS TRACKING IN THE BACKGROUND A pradakshina walk can take several minutes, and it's natural to lock your screen or glance at another app along the way. Temple360 keeps tracking in the background so laps completed while your screen is off are still counted correctly — you don't have to keep the app open and staring at your screen throughout your walk. BUILT FOR REAL-WORLD GPS Temple sizes and GPS conditions vary widely, so Temple360 includes Advanced Settings letting you tune detection thresholds — away distance, return radius, rotation requirements, and more — to match your specific temple and location. Sensible defaults work out of the box; tune further only if you want to. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS See your current session's progress, lifetime lap count, and streaks, with a celebration when you reach your target. PRIVACY-RESPECTING Location is used only to detect completed laps while you're actively tracking a session — nothing is tracked when you're not using the app. An in-app disclosure explains exactly why background location access is requested before you're asked to grant it.
