IDENTIFY WITH CARE, NOT A GUESS Photograph a plant from several angles and Roots to Roux returns ranked candidates — never a single, over-confident verdict. Before any use or preparation information appears, you rule out the plant's dangerous look-alikes yourself, answering questions about the details that actually separate a safe plant from its twin: whether a stem is woody or smooth, how a leaf attaches, what the underside shows. Plants flagged as dangerous, like water hemlock, are fully described so you can recognize them — but no preparation content is ever shown for them.
