Sea Temperature Map

Sea Temperature shows live Copernicus Marine model forecasts for Italy's 15 coastal regions on Apple Maps. Choose one coastal home region to use free. All Regions Annual is an optional one-year subscription that unlocks the other 14 regions. Tap a sea point for a numeric modeled temperature and forecast validity time. The map includes a thermal legend, source details, and up to 25 hourly forecast times. The source model has a native horizontal resolution of 4.2 km and a model depth near 1.018 m. Current forecasts require internet. If provider data is unavailable, the app says so. A separately labeled 4–5 September 2026 archive is included for local queries and is never presented as current data. Apple's basemap may still require internet. Live map tiles and selected-point requests go directly to Copernicus Marine, which receives the requested area or point, forecast time, and IP address. Location access is optional; a GPS-derived point is sent only after you use the location control. Your free home choice remains in your iPhone Keychain. Apple StoreKit handles purchases and restores on-device. Sea Temperature has no developer-operated map or account backend. These are model estimates, not direct beach measurements or safety advice.
