About
Qassandra is a private productivity companion for bounded exploration. Habits, algorithms, and personalization get better at refining options already nearby; other acceptable possibilities can remain untested. Define a low-stakes search space, approve safe and reversible options, sample one independently, notice your reaction, and learn from what actually happens. THE ESCAPE LOOP • Define an ordinary pattern that feels stuck • Bound the choice with options you explicitly approve • Interrupt the routine with Quantum selection or Shake selection • Notice whether you first feel curiosity, energy, relief, resistance, unease, or neutrality • Accept the proposal, edit it into a better experiment, or reject it • Follow up in Progress and turn the outcome into useful evidence Randomness proposes. You decide. Experience teaches. QUANTUM OR SHAKE—WITH A RECEIPT Quantum selection requests 256 random bits generated from measured quantum vacuum fluctuations by the Australian National University service, then mixes them locally with secure iPhone randomness. If the service is unavailable, Qassandra visibly labels the secure-device fallback. Shake selection mixes temporary iPhone movement with secure device randomness. Raw motion is not retained. Every selection shows the source actually used and a short receipt. Unpredictability widens the search—it is not an oracle. A familiar option may be a good local result without being the best possibility available. Neither method identifies or guarantees a global optimum, predicts an outcome, or has scientific superiority as advice. Qassandra selects only from safe possibilities you approved, and the result has no authority over your decision. A PROGRESS RECORD BUILT FROM WHAT HAPPENED Accepted experiments appear in Progress with a follow-up. Keep your initial reaction, chosen action, and later outcome separate so you can learn what genuinely helped. Hector’s optional accountability workspace adds ambitious goals, if–then plans, next actions, check-ins, and evidence. You can also log a personal metric. After at least twelve distinct daily observations, Qassandra can calculate a compact on-device progress estimate with a visible range. The estimate is an extrapolation, not fate, a promise, or a prediction of a life event. THREE OPTIONAL FICTIONAL GUIDES • Hector turns uncertainty into a concrete move and follows up on commitments. • Nana protects capacity through brief, general-wellbeing practices and sustainable pacing. • Uziel widens the frame with meditation, visualization, and one grounded action. The guides are fictional narrative voices, not live people, clinicians, or supernatural authorities. On supported devices, Apple’s on-device Foundation Model can help compose contextual conversation. A bundled local engine remains available when it cannot. PRIVATE CONTEXT, CHOSEN BY YOU Choose individual Calendar events, paste a note, or deliberately share selected text from Mail, Messages, Notes, Gmail, Outlook, and compatible apps. Qassandra never silently reads another app. You can disable or delete context and saved memories at any time. Your questions, conversations, selected context, goals, experiments, observations, and local estimates are not sent to an external AI inference server. Quantum selection sends no question or personal context to ANU. No account is required. No ads. No subscription. No in-app purchases. Available in English and Latin American Spanish. Qassandra is for low-stakes reflection and personal experimentation. It must not be used to randomize medical, legal, financial, crisis, consent-related, safety-critical, or irreversible decisions. It is not medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or emergency advice.Read more

THE ESCAPE LOOP
• Define an ordinary pattern that feels stuck

QUANTUM OR SHAKE—WITH A RECEIPT
Quantum selection requests 256 random bits generated from measured quantum vacuum fluctuations by the Australian National University service, then mixes them locally with secure iPhone randomness.
A PROGRESS RECORD BUILT FROM WHAT HAPPENED
Accepted experiments appear in Progress with a follow-up.
THREE OPTIONAL FICTIONAL GUIDES
• Hector turns uncertainty into a concrete move and follows up on commitments.
PRIVATE CONTEXT, CHOSEN BY YOU
Choose individual Calendar events, paste a note, or deliberately share selected text from Mail, Messages, Notes, Gmail, Outlook, and compatible apps. Qassandra never silently reads another app. You can disable or delete context and saved memories at any time.
