HOW IT WORKS Turn on the data types you want, tap Export, and Data Exporter reads each one (using Apple's own frameworks, read-only) and writes it to dated JSON files. Domains that support it — Photos, Calendar, Motion & Fitness — sync incrementally after the first run, so later exports are fast and also correctly handle deletions and edits, not just new records. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything is written to your device by default. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you explicitly turn on a destination — an external folder (like iCloud Drive) or a server URL you configure yourself. Data Exporter has no account, no analytics, and no backend of its own; GrooveWise never sees your data.
