ScanFakes helps you check whether a dating profile is real before you get invested. Met someone on a dating app? Run their profile through the same checks a professional would, in seconds. Upload a screenshot of the profile with the photo and bio visible. ScanFakes analyzes it three ways and returns a Fake Score from 0 to 100, with the evidence behind it: - Reverse image search finds where the photo appears elsewhere online, including the same face on other profiles under different names. - AI-image detection flags photos that may be generated or manipulated. - Open-web and profile checks look for mismatches and known scam patterns. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your photo is deleted the moment your scan finishes. We never store it, sell it, or use it to train AI. Scans only run when you start them. We never contact or notify the person you check, and there is no background monitoring of anyone. HONEST BY DESIGN A Fake Score is an informed signal, not a verdict. HOW IT WORKS 1. Take or upload a screenshot of the profile. 2. ScanFakes checks the photo and text against face search, AI detection, and the open web. 3. Read your Fake Score and the findings behind it. Your past scans are saved privately in your account. The iPhone app includes scans every month at no cost.
