HHT Compass

HHT Compass is the patient diary app for the HHT Compass clinical study. It is intended only for enrolled study participants and study staff. Participants record nosebleed episodes, including duration, worst blood-flow intensity, and whether the episode occurred during sleep. On days without nosebleeds, participants can confirm this. The app also provides a 3-day history, daily reminders, periodic health surveys, and options to report technical or data-related problems. Access requires an email address, Patient ID, and Study ID provided by study staff. New accounts must be reviewed by the study team. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted. The app requires a 4-digit PIN, with optional biometric unlock.
