Some people can go for a run alone. This app isn't for them. SweatPotatoes is for two people who have been saying "we really should get back into it" for months. You pick someone. You promise each other a session. And suddenly, not going means telling somebody. WHAT A PACT IS A day, a time, a duration, an activity, a place. Your buddy sets theirs. When the moment comes, you mark it done — or you write the line explaining why it didn't happen. They see both. That's exactly where it works. PUT A DARE ON IT Before the pact plays out, you can set a dare for your buddy: the price of not showing up. You can keep it hidden until the day. It's optional. It's usually what gets you out the door. A PHOTO, IF YOU WANT A gym mirror, a muddy shoe, a red face. Proof photos stay private: only the two people in the pact can ever see them. ONE BUDDY, ONE ONLY No feed, no leaderboard, no strangers. You invite one person with a code you send yourself, however you like. The app never reads your contacts. WHAT IT DELIBERATELY ISN'T Not a tracker, not a coach. No GPS, no pace, no calories, no heart rate. The only number kept about a session is the number of minutes you declared yourself. Nothing connects to Apple Health, Strava or a watch. No ads, and nothing to track you with. SOMETHING CAME UP? It happens. You can ask your buddy to reschedule, with a word about why. They decide. It stays a conversation between two people, not a red X handed out by an app. YOUR FIRST PACT IS FREE It only starts once a buddy joins you, so an account still waiting on a friend costs nothing. After that, making new promises needs a subscription. Logging a session you already did and looking back at past pacts stay available. One subscription covers the duo. As long as your pairing is active, your partner gets the same access at no extra cost.
