Count - Mark What Matters

Some things are too small for a diary and too personal for a habit score: a focused session, a good conversation, a walk, a visit, a small win, or a creative burst. Create a Count for what you want to notice, then add a Mark each time it happens. Those Marks can be viewed as totals within your chosen time window, or as Rhythm views by day, week, or month. Count is built for reflection, not pressure. There are no streaks to protect, rankings to chase, ads to ignore, or accounts to create. You decide what is worth counting, what a Mark means, and when a pattern matters. Count offers: - A lighter way to capture moments: add a quick Mark when something matters, with optional time, notes, location, and Photos references when context matters. - Rich personalization for every Count: set its name, icon, color, privacy setting, and default time window. - A clearer view of the patterns that matter: review totals for all time, calendar periods, or recent days, and switch Rhythm views between day, week, and month. - Privacy for sensitive Counts: protect private Counts with Face ID or your device passcode. - Local-first storage by default: records stay on your device unless you enable iCloud Sync, which uses your private CloudKit database. Count does not operate a server for your records or media. Attached photos and videos stay in Photos; Count stores local asset references and lightweight metadata instead of another full media copy. That is Count's local-first philosophy in practice: your records stay local by default, optional sync stays inside your private iCloud database, and media stays where it already lives.
