About

An LLM will happily invent a discounted cash flow. What it cannot do is produce a reproducible one, with every figure traced to the filing it came from. MeritValue answers two questions about a public company: do you want to own this business, and is the price fair? Both are computed — from SEC filings, by a versioned engine, the same way for every reader. WHAT YOU GET • Six valuation models per company — discounted cash flow at 5 and 10 years, earnings power value, the Graham number, FFO capitalization for REITs — with the assumptions exposed underneath each one. • A written thesis on business quality and fair value, assembled from the signals rather than generated. • Moat and management signals: return on capital against cost of capital, and what the share count has done over time. • Expected return at a price you enter. • A follow list, kept on your device. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Every number is traceable. Each figure comes from a filing with an accession number behind it, and the engine version that produced it is stamped on the page. Run it again tomorrow and you get the same answer. Models refuse, and the refusals are the point. The discounted cash flow declines on most of the universe — banks have no capital expenditure line to discount, and a filer without positive median free cash flow has nothing to grow from. MeritValue shows you the refusal and its reason instead of substituting a number it cannot support. There are no live quotes. MeritValue holds no market-data licence, so the price is yours to enter. Fair value comes from the filings; what you pay for it is a separate question, and it stays yours. COVERAGE About 6,000 US filers with SEC filings, refreshed nightly. Foreign filers report in their own currency, and the app shows theirs rather than quietly converting it. FREE AND PAID Five companies a month, free, with no account and no card. Companies you have already opened stay free to re-read, and a company where every model declines costs you nothing. MeritValue Analyst removes the monthly limit and adds the full-universe screener, which runs a model across every covered filer and lists the ones that produced a value. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS MeritValue Analyst is an auto-renewing subscription: $9.99 per month or $69.99 per year in the United States, with prices in other territories shown in the App Store before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of that period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.meritvalue.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://www.meritvalue.com/privacy MeritValue is education, not investment advice. It does not recommend securities.Read more
