A creature is born from one place. And only once. Your location, the weather and the hour of your first meeting become a genome – colour, ears, eyes, voice. That combination never happens again. After that, your Wanderling grows from one thing only: the real steps you take together. EVERY METRE COUNTS No start button, no countdown. It simply counts along – including the steps you take while the app is closed. With Travel Mode even trains, cars and flights count. At 1, 10, 100 and 1000 km its body changes. GATHERED ALONG THE WAY Berries, shells, slivers of moon – 40 finds, each with its own little story, and each one remembers WHERE it was found. The shore gives different things than the mountains. ALL IN THE BACKPACK The collection, the wardrobe (found blossoms, hats, trophies – wear them all at once if you like), postcards from every big journey, and your friendship album. NINE GAMES – AND ONE FOR TWO Balloon, fireflies, shooting stars, echo song, bubbles, shell game, kite, peekaboo and pairs. Every game can drop a snack for the basket. And when another Wanderling is really standing next to you: the Balloon Duet – one balloon, two skies, two phones. REAL MEETINGS Two devices find each other directly – no server, no account. Your creatures swap cards, stories and a little gift. An experienced creature can bless a young one: a godparent bond, in the passport forever. A LIFE, NOT A CHORE LIST Pet it, tickle it, cuddle it – and if you hold it long enough, it falls asleep in your hands. It dreams every morning, sometimes wishes for something ("to smell the sea"), and learns your secret knock – which one day it knocks back at you. Forget it and you don't lose it. It sleeps and waits.
