Sum Sprint!

SumSprint is a focused math practice app for children on iPhone and iPad. It helps kids build fluency in multiplication tables, division, addition, and subtraction through short, customizable sessions, with clear results for the child and simple tools for parents to review progress, approve practice, and manage rewards. Practice runs entirely on the device, so children can train offline. Results, rewards, and the child’s profile stay private and can sync through iCloud. Practice that matches your child - Practise multiplication tables, division, addition, and subtraction. - Choose which tables and number ranges to use. - Run a fixed set of up to 500 problems, or answer as many as possible in a timed sprint. - Use “Practise what’s tricky” to repeat facts that are still slow or often wrong, within the tables and ranges you already chose. - Optionally require typing the correct answer after a mistake before the next problem. The first answer still counts toward the grade. - Practice settings are remembered for the next session. Clear results after every session - See how many answers were correct and an accuracy grade after a completed timed sprint. - Review every answer, with average time per problem. - Filter the list by all, correct, incorrect, unanswered, or the slowest 10% of answered problems. - Rows are tinted from green to red based on how long a problem took, so slower facts stand out at a glance. - Retry incorrect problems or the slowest 10% without affecting grades or earned points. - Follow progress with hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly charts of the average time per problem. - See a skill heatmap in Results for times tables, division, and tricky addition or subtraction facts — including for a linked child. Motivation that stays in the family’s hands - A daily practice streak is shown on the Practice tab. - Optionally set a local daily reminder in Settings. - Completed sessions earn points only after a parent reviews and approves them. - Parents can approve all pending sessions at once after one PIN check. - Exchange approved points for one-time or recurring rewards that a parent configures. - Recurring rewards stay available to earn again; one-time rewards move to history after redemption. A personal profile, with parent controls - Add the child’s name and see it together with available points at the top of Practice. - Choose one of six illustrated avatars or a personal photo. Tap the avatar to pan, zoom, and crop it. - Protect point approval, reward management, and redemption with a four-digit parent PIN, synchronized through iCloud Keychain. - Link parents and children across different iCloud accounts with a temporary, PIN-protected QR code. - Linked parents can review and approve results and fully manage a child’s rewards from their own device. - Parents can leave a linked child; the child account can revoke parent access after PIN confirmation. Designed for everyday use - Works offline; iCloud syncs practice results, answers, rewards, the child’s name, and the avatar between the family’s devices when available. - Available in English and Dutch. The app defaults to English unless the device language is Dutch. - Layouts for iPhone and iPad, with Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, and full Light and Dark Mode support. - No advertising, tracking, or analytics.
