Fifteen rows to the top of a floor, ten floors to the top of a run, and the machine gets faster every time you're right. FOUR WAYS TO PLAY FREE PLAY — Ten floors, with a draft between every one of them. The full run. UNLIMITED TOWER — No top floor. Lava rises from the bottom of the cabinet and never stops, and the only way to stay ahead of it is to keep placing. Let it catch you and it takes the row you were standing on. BLIND CLIMB — One cabinet a day for everybody on the planet. Same seed, same relics, same curses, rolling over at midnight UTC. Play it as often as you like; only your best counts. Small tombstones down the margin show where everyone else died today. ONE CABINET — One machine, one score. No draft, no curses, no climb. The arcade original, for when you want the pure thing. THE DRAFT Between floors it deals you cards. Three relics, take one — or trade tickets for a block back, which costs you the relic you didn't take. Twenty-five relics. Twelve curses, and the curses aren't optional. Some speed you up. Some take blocks out of your hand. Two of them lie to you about where the block is. THE WEATHER Nine hazards blow across the cabinet as you climb, and the higher you get the harder it blows. Crosswind leans on the clock. Frost sticks the button. A magnetic storm takes the block somewhere you never sent it. Meteors warn you before they land, and that warning is the only one you get. THREE MACHINES THE TOWER — Seven columns, bottom to top. The arcade original. Free forever. THE VAULT — A square, played inward from the outer edge. The walls close in. There are no edges left to hide behind. THE DRUM — A circle, played inward from the rim. It never narrows. It turns round on you instead, and the direction flips at every ring. Each machine has four heat settings, from STOCK to OPERATOR'S CUT, and each setting keeps its own leaderboard. RACE SOMEBODY Every run is recorded as a tape and played back by the same code that played it live, so a ghost is never an approximation of what somebody did. Race your own best.
