Skald Cam

Skald Cam turns an iPhone or iPad into one camera angle of a Skald multi-camera rig. It's the free companion to Skald — the controller app that discovers the cameras, mixes the angles live, and records one synchronized video. HOW IT WORKS • Install Skald (the controller) on one iPad or iPhone • Install Skald Cam on every device you want as a camera — up to four cameras per session • Put everything on the same Wi-Fi or iPhone hotspot • Pair in seconds: Skald Cam finds Skald on the network automatically • Once paired, cameras reconnect automatically at the next rehearsal WHILE RECORDING • Streams clock-synced 1080p video and audio to the controller in real time • Pinch to zoom; the zoom is preserved in the recording • Mount it any way you like — orientation is handled automatically, with a Lock button for tricky overhead or stand mounts • The recording itself is saved on the controller, never in the cloud • With multi-file recording on, your full-frame angle is also saved as its own file — frame-aligned and ready for the editor PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts, no analytics, no cloud.
