TrueMile: Mileage Log

Every business mile you drive is worth money at tax time. TrueMile turns the miles you type into that number and keeps it rolling. Log a trip in seconds: pick the vehicle, type the miles or the odometer readings, tag the purpose. That is the whole entry. On the home screen an odometer rolls up to what the year's business miles are worth, using the IRS standard mileage rate for each trip's own date. The 2026 rates are built in, including the July change, and personal trips are never counted. Medical and charity trips get their own rates. Business and personal never mix. Each vehicle keeps its own trips, fuel and service history. Quick Log repeats your last trip with one tap, so the daily commute to a client takes about as long as unlocking your phone. Free covers one active vehicle; Pro lets you keep as many as you drive. With Pro, the rate table is yours to edit. Add a row for any year or category, an employer reimbursement rate for example, and it takes priority over the built-in one. And when the accountant asks, Pro exports a CSV of every trip, fuel and service entry with the rate that was applied. It opens cleanly in a spreadsheet or tax software. What this app is not. TrueMile has no GPS and no automatic trip detection. Nothing runs in the background and nothing drains your battery. You type the miles, on purpose, because a log you wrote yourself is one you can stand behind. It is a record-keeping tool, not tax advice. Free and Pro.
