Simply capture the page or upload a PDF. The app extracts the selected lesson and prepares it for reading, listening and practice. GUIDED READING WITH WORD HIGHLIGHTING As the lesson is read aloud, each word is highlighted in sync with the audio. This helps children connect the written word with its pronunciation, follow the lesson without losing their place and remain focused while reading. Seeing and hearing every word together can help children improve pronunciation, become familiar with the written script and build reading confidence. UNDERSTAND DIFFICULT WORDS Bhashamitra identifies words that may be difficult for the learner and provides helpful meanings and explanations. PRACTICE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS After reading and listening, children can practice questions and answers generated from the selected page. Page-based practice helps them recall important details, review the lesson and check their understanding using the material they are actually learning at school. LEARNING INSIGHTS FOR PARENTS Parents create and operate the account, choose the learning material and manage the learner profile. Where enabled, parents can view limited learning activity, including the time spent learning and the number of difficult words practiced. This provides a simple way to understand engagement and encourage regular practice. MOTIVATION THROUGH REWARDS Bhashamitra encourages children to continue learning through activity-based rewards. Progress may provide access to suitable learning content created or licensed by Bhashamitra. PRIVATE AND PARENT-CONTROLLED Uploaded pages and generated learning content are kept private to the parent’s account and are not made available to other users. Bhashamitra does not provide options to publicly share or download generated lesson text, questions, answers or audio. FOCUSED ON ONE PAGE AT A TIME Each session focuses on one parent-selected page, keeping the learning experience simple and manageable. Bhashamitra is designed for guided, page-level learning—not for converting complete books into digital copies or audio books. IMPORTANT Bhashamitra uses artificial intelligence and text-recognition technology. Extracted text, pronunciation, explanations, questions and answers may occasionally contain errors.
