Every number tells the rabbit exactly how far to hop. Read the HOP value, then land on a tile exactly that many grid spaces away in the same row or column. Empty spaces still count. After every legal hop, the old tile closes and the landing number flips: 1 becomes 4, 2 becomes 3, and back again. The flipped number sets your next hop, so one landing reshapes the whole route.
