About
PHEM Logger is a precision timestamping tool for pre-hospital emergency medicine professionals. Designed for Enhanced Care Teams, Paramedic crews, and First responders, it captures accurate real-time timestamps for every key event during a patient job — supporting clinical governance, handover documentation, and post-incident audit. Built for glove-friendly, single-handed operation under pressure. Runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. JOB TIMINGS Timestamp every phase of a job — activation, mobile, on scene, at patient, leaving scene, and hospital arrival — with a live on-scene stopwatch. Time since call, scene time, patient contact time and total job time are calculated for you. DRUGS Log clinician-administered medications with automatic frequency counting across repeat administrations. Includes adrenaline (bolus and infusion), fentanyl, ketamine, rocuronium, TXA, morphine, and more. Record the exact time, choose a different time, or log without a time. INTERVENTIONS Record the precise time of clinical interventions including airway management, PHEA, blood products, IV and arterial access, ultrasound, and fracture management. CARDIAC ARREST Timestamp shocks, rhythm changes, ROSC, mechanical CPR, cardiac arrest drugs and termination of resuscitation. Recording initial events such as time of arrest, bystander CPR, bystander AED. With recordings of cardiac rhythms including ROSC, automatic calculation of total no flow time, total low flow time and total down time. NEWS2 Record respiration rate, oxygen saturations, blood pressure, pulse, temperature and level of consciousness as part of a vital signs snapshot, and the NEWS2 score is calculated from your entries — colour-coded and included in every export. A Scale 2 option is available for patients at risk of hypercapnic respiratory failure. A score is shown only when all seven parameters are present; anything missing is named instead. DASHBOARD A single glance shows your current job status, on-scene time, and recent events. App stays open, preventing sleep mode with customisable setting. MAKE NOTES & BUILD ATMIST HANDOVER RECORD Notes can fit your preferred structure which can then be directly mapped to the ATMIST handover notes. Record key vital signs snapshots for ATMIST handover. Fully exportable: End of handover or from job lists export to a plain text preview which can be easily read at handover JOB LIST Every completed job shows how it ended — hospital handover, stand down, or patient life extinct — colour-coded to show whether the patient was reached. Filter the list by outcome, select any number of jobs, and export or delete them together. Most recent first. CUSTOMISABLE Edit numerous setting: Display appearance, On scene audible alert timing, Confirmation alerts, Headings & Timings required for notes page, ATMIST sections mapped to Notes, printer selection. JOB REPORT & SHARE FUNCTION During and end of job timings report viewable with share function into Notes or messaging apps. Export as plain text, as a spreadsheet, or as a combined archive covering several jobs at once. Compatibility with Bixolon SPP-R310 and Zebra ZQ220 Plus thermal printers for handover to other clinical teams. Save the printers your service uses and run a start-of-shift check to confirm paper, battery and connection. BUILT-IN GUIDE Sixteen sections covering every screen and setting, including guidance on data governance and what should not be recorded. SIMULATION READY PHEM Logger works equally well during manikin-based simulation exercises and training scenarios, making it a valuable tool for team debriefs and skills development. IMPORTANT: All entries in PHEM Logger are clinician-initiated. The app records what you enter and displays standard figures calculated from those entries, such as NEWS2 and no-flow / low-flow times. It does not provide clinical guidance or recommendations, and every figure it derives remains subject to your own clinical assessment.Read more

This release adds a NEWS2 score to ATMIST observations, a Guide built into the app, and a second supported thermal printer, alongside a reworked Jobs list. NEWS2 ON OBSERVATIONS Each set of vitals recorded in ATMIST is now scored with NEWS2, colour-coded green (0–4), amber (5–6) or red (7 and above). Respiration rate and temperature have been added as observation fields, and there is a Scale 2 option for patients at risk of hypercapnic respiratory failure. A score appears only when all seven parameters are present — if any are missing, PHEM Logger names them rather than showing a misleadingly…
