Description

HeadFlow is a migraine and headache diary. It is built around one idea: the ten minutes you get with your clinician go much further when your history arrives with you. Start here Log an attack in seconds while it is happening or fill it in later when your head has cleared. Tap where the pain sits across four views of the head, record headache severity on a scale of 1 to 10 and mark the phases as they pass: warning signs, aura, the headache, the recovery. Add the triggers, symptoms and what you took, with a note of whether it helped. Over time, your record builds into a picture of what is actually happening. A calendar heat map shows the last thirty days at a glance, while a twelve-month chart reveals longer-term trends. Prescription medications are recorded and, when taken during an attack, their effectiveness is tracked, helping you build a clearer understanding of what works and what does not. Procedures such as injections and infusions are tracked too, along with how effective they were. Future appointments can be added straight to your iOS calendar. Built-in MIDAS, HIT-6 and Migraine ACT-4 questionnaires keep every score alongside the history that produced it. Five dark themes, including high contrast and greyscale, help keep screen use comfortable during an attack. Sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft, and your record follows you wherever you sign in, with no passwords to remember. There is no light mode, because bright screens are often part of the problem. What HeadFlow+ adds Everything above captures what happened. HeadFlow+ explains what it means. HeadFlow takes your attacks, medicines, procedures, questionnaire scores and, if you connect it, your Apple Health data and applies deterministic logic derived from recognised clinical sources. It then writes a plain English summary showing what your own records reveal. That means every appointment starts with a clear picture of your current status and what has actually happened since you began tracking. Share or print two types of report. A consultation summary provides the key information at a glance, while a detailed report includes a page for every recorded attack. Both can be produced in plain English or in clinician-focused language, depending on who will be reading them. Connect Apple Health and view thirteen health signals alongside your attacks, including sleep, menstrual cycle, heart rate variability and time spent in daylight. Seeing them together can help uncover patterns, triggers and trends that are difficult to spot in isolation. You choose which types of data to share, and nothing is ever written back. Make logging your own by reordering symptoms and triggers, starring favourites and hiding triggers you never use. The information you record most often stays within easy reach, making it quicker and easier to capture an attack while it is happening. Every conclusion has a source The wording comes from a fixed rule set, and every rule names its source: NICE, BASH and ICHD-3. Give HeadFlow the same records next month and it writes the same words. Nothing is invented, and nothing drifts between readings. Every line traces back to where it came from, which is what makes it worthwhile. Private by design Your data is yours. Sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft, and no passwords are stored. Nothing goes anywhere unless you send it, and reports only leave the app in your own hands. HeadFlow is a migraine tracking and education tool, not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
