Description
A gallery you take apart, one piece at a time.
Puzzleum turns over 150 masterpieces into quiet puzzles. No timer counting down, no score judging you, nothing to lose. Take a painting off the wall, choose a pace, and take as long as you like.
WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT
β’ No timers. No scores. No streaks, no daily challenges, no notifications nagging you back. Nothing here expires.
β’ Four paces, not difficulties β Gentle, Flowing, Deep, Immersive. You choose one per painting, every time. Nothing is locked behind beating anything.
β’ Every painting you finish is framed and hung on your own wall. The frame it earns reflects the pace you chose.
β’ Tiles settle into place with a single warm chime. Silence is the default, and it is protected.
β’ Hold to peek at the finished painting whenever you want to see where you are going.
A ROOM TO WANDER
The gallery is one open wall. Pan in any direction to see what is hanging, and begin wherever you like β nothing is gated, nothing arrives in a fixed order, and no painting waits on another being finished. Prefer shelves to a wall? The same collection browses by subject, by movement, or by artist.
THE COLLECTION
Over 150 paintings by more than 80 artists, gathered into eleven rooms: Portraits, Landscapes, Everyday Life, Myth & Legend, On the Water, Night, Sacred, Flowers & Still Life, History, Modern, and Women Painters.
Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. Van Gogh's Starry Night. Hokusai's Great Wave. Klimt's The Kiss. Rembrandt's Night Watch. Monet's Water Lily Pond. Leonardo's Mona Lisa. Munch's The Scream. Seurat's La Grande Jatte.
The whole gallery ships inside the app, so it opens to a full wall on the very first launch with nothing to download first.
EVERY PAINTING HAS A STORY
Finish one and it tells you what you have been looking at β who painted it, when, where it hangs today, and the one detail worth knowing.
On Rembrandt's Storm on the Sea of Galilee: his only seascape, taken from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in the largest art theft in history and never recovered. Its empty frame still hangs in the gallery.
Every work is in the public domain and shown at high resolution.
BEST AFTER DARK
Cream by day, charcoal at night β the gallery follows your system appearance, and it was designed for the second one. iPhone and iPad.
ONE PAYMENT
Eight paintings are free. Unlocking the rest is a single purchase, once, forever. Not a subscription. No ads, no energy timers, no coins, no pop-ups asking for anything.
Nothing here is trying to keep you. Finish a painting, look at it a while, and put the phone down.
