Intentful

Intentful asks one question: "Are you sure you really want to open this app?" Choose the apps that pull you in. When you open one, a full-screen shield appears with that question. Tap "Not now" and the app closes. Tap "Unlock for 15 min" and it closes too — open it again and you're in, no question asked, for fifteen minutes. That pause is the whole product. No timers to configure, no streaks to keep, no scores, no reports, no notifications, no account. HOW IT WORKS • Choose any apps you like. • Turn on "Ask before opening". Their icons dim. • Open one, and answer the question. • Unlocking exempts only the app you tapped. The others keep asking. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Nothing is collected and nothing is sent anywhere. There are no servers, no analytics and no sign-in. Your choices are held on your device by Apple's Screen Time framework, where neither we nor anyone else can see them. The source code is public under the MIT licence. WORTH KNOWING • Fifteen minutes is the shortest interval Apple allows, not a number we chose. • That window runs on the clock whether you use the app or not. • Screen Time access is the only permission Intentful asks for, and the only one it needs.
