Description
Bossy Blocks is an endless brick breaker with a roguelike card deck and a boss at the start of every wave. The blocks advance one row every turn, and when one reaches the bottom the run is over.
Aim and launch your balls each turn. The blocks you break drop cards, and every new wave hands you an upgrade. That's the whole economy โ no currency, no energy, nothing to wait for.
A BOSS STARTS EVERY WAVE
Hold out long enough and a boss block arrives to open a new wave. Each one is a different problem:
- The Medic heals every damaged block at the end of the turn
- The Phoenix brings destroyed blocks back
- The Siphon drains your ball power and heals itself with it
- The Thief takes your duplicate cards
- The Wall makes its entire row stronger
- The Fog hides what the other blocks are
- The Damper blunts your upgrades while it's alive
- The Enchanter enchants another block every turn
- The Tank is just much harder to kill
CARDS OFF THE BOARD
Play the cards you collect whenever you choose: clear the fullest column, fire a laser down your aim line, or punch straight through the first few blocks you hit. Your collection has a limit, so holding one back costs you a slot. Bosses can drop ultimates, like Power Drain, which halves the strength of everything on the board.
PICKS THAT CHANGE HOW YOU PLAY
Each wave's pick offers more power, more balls, a bigger card collection or a ball upgrade. Power is shared evenly across your balls, so a swarm reaches every corner of the board while a few heavy hitters break what a swarm would only dent. Both work, and they don't play alike.
Upgrades change how you aim, not just how hard you hit. Bank Shot powers up a ball each time it comes off a wall, so you start playing the angles. Flank Fury pays out on the outside columns, so those go first. Enchanted blocks push back the same way: Invincible can't be touched until it's the last in its row, and Halt ends the turn for any ball that hits it.
A DIFFERENT DECK EVERY RUN
Every game draws its own deck of cards, upgrades and bosses, so learning one run doesn't hand you the next. There's also a charge point to shoot a ball through, bonus blocks on a deadline, casual and hard settings, a global score ranking, and it picks up where you left off.
