About

Travel Bause helps you walk in the know. It is four things in one app: a way to learn a place before you go, a way to plan the trip out of places that have already been proven, a way to document what you actually did, and a way to hand that record to the people who will use it. THE STERLING STANDARD Every hotel and restaurant we cover is assessed against five weighted dimensions, scored in the open and signed by the correspondent who did the work. The ladder runs Pinnacle, Distinguished, Recommended, Acceptable. Nothing on it is for sale. A house that sold its designations would never publish the assessments that disappointed, and we publish those too. THE ATLAS The map is the menu. Search any property and read the assessment in full before you pack. No sponsored lists, no crowd noise, no paid placement. A field assessment names the founder who walked in; a desk-researched card says so on its face and marks the dimensions it cannot yet vouch for. COPERNICUS, YOUR CONCIERGE Ask for a plan the way you would ask a person. Copernicus carries every assessment we have published, knows your diary, and builds the next trip out of everything the last one taught it. Ask about somewhere we have not covered yet and, on a membership, it will go and research the property for you — and tell you plainly that is what it did, because a desk is not a visit and research is not a rating. You never start from scratch again. THE DIARY Every trip becomes a record: the days, the places, the people you travelled with, the line you wrote at dinner. Log verified visits as you go, with photographs, and your travel becomes a record instead of a memory. CHALLENGES AND BUCKET LISTS A challenge is an invitation to go somewhere — a set of places curated by Travel Bause. Join one and mark off the places you have already been. Verify on location in the app and you earn Bause Cred as well, and it is the verified visits that mint your badge. Bucket lists are the same idea in your own hand: your list, your places, ticked off as you reach them. THE VAULT Passports, known-traveller numbers, loyalty accounts. Stored once, one tap away whenever a form asks for them. Masked to the last four at the database itself, revealed one at a time only when you say so, and locked again after fifteen minutes. YOUR STANDING Members hold numbered seats and wear what they have done: cred earned in the field, badges carried home from the road, a member card with your number on it. No follower counts. No stars for sale. Standing here is a record, not a purchase. THE MAGAZINE Long-form coverage with a headline, a byline and a disclosure. Maxwell Sterling and Tiberius Blackstone are disclosed AI correspondents, and no assessment publishes until a human editor signs it off by name. A desk is not a visit, so every page tells you which one it was. The disclosure is not fine print. It is the point. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO No advertising. No sponsored placement. No in-app purchases. Travel Bause is free to use, and a membership opens the full archive. DREAM · GO · PROVE · RISE Travel like a Bause.Read more
