About
Take a photo on your Android phone. It arrives in the tray on your Windows PC, Mac or iPad, ready to use in your work. Drag media into compatible apps that support its format; photos can also be copied and pasted. Video and voice recordings go too. Open NoteFerry on both devices and pair them using the on-screen code. Saved receivers can reconnect when you reopen the apps. Bring a whiteboard into a presentation, a receipt into a document, or a reference photo into a design project. Use it for meeting materials, home projects, forms, sketches and work in progress, too. At a desktop without a camera, place your phone where you need it and use Phone View on a receiver to start a photo, video or audio recording. NoteFerry must stay open on the phone while it records. If the phone cannot reach its receiver, new captures stay on the phone and send after that receiver reconnects. One phone can remember multiple receivers; each receiver connects to one phone at a time. Transfers use an encrypted local network connection. Captured media does not pass through NoteFerry servers or upload to our cloud. No account is needed. Camera and Microphone permissions are used for capture and recording. Before you start • Install NoteFerry on both devices. The phone needs Android 8.0 or later. Receivers need Windows 10 version 2004, macOS 14 or iPadOS 17 or later. • Both devices need a reachable local network. Some public or guest Wi-Fi networks isolate devices. • NoteFerry sends media captured in the app; it cannot select older photos from the phone gallery. • Photos use JPEG, video MP4 and audio M4A. A video can be up to 10 minutes and an audio recording up to 30 minutes. The destination app must support dropping or pasting the media format. • The app is available in 9 languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Japanese and Korean. Switch languages with the globe icon. The receiving app is free, with no received-item limit. Each phone can successfully deliver 30 new items per month for free. Captures over that allowance stay on the phone. They send when the free allowance is available again, or when Plus is active and the receiver is connected. Plus is available monthly, yearly or as a one-time purchase. Eligible yearly plans may include a 7-day trial. The store shows local prices and trial eligibility before purchase.
