Filyy

Filyy is an alumni-based social and professional networking platform designed to help people discover communities, join meaningful conversations, and reconnect through shared experiences from different chapters of life. Your network is bigger than your contact list. Filyy is built around a simple idea: the people who can add value to your professional, social, and personal life may already be part of your extended alumni network—you just may not have discovered them yet. Unlike traditional social platforms centered around followers, profiles, endless feeds, or direct messaging, Filyy takes a conversation-first approach. Filyy offers: * Alumni-based networking * Professional and social communities * Topic-based Circles * Public and private conversations * TrendZone for discovering active discussions * Community-driven moderation * No follower counts * No endless scrolling * No unsolicited direct messages * No dating or matchmaking features ALUMNI NETWORKING BEYOND COLLEGE On Filyy, alumni networking goes beyond college. You may share a connection because you: * Attended the same school, college, or university * Worked for the same company or organization * Participated in the same educational or professional program * Lived in the same city or community * Were part of the same institution, association, or group These shared experiences can become the starting point for professional relationships, mentorship, knowledge sharing, collaboration, community participation, and meaningful conversations. JOIN CONVERSATIONS THROUGH CIRCLES Filyy organizes discussions through Circles—topic- or community-based spaces where users can participate in group conversations around shared interests, experiences, organizations, industries, locations, events, or communities. Topics may include careers, entrepreneurship, technology, education, business, professional development, local communities, travel, sports, entertainment, and current topics. Instead of unsolicited private messages, Filyy encourages conversations to develop within shared communities and relevant context. COMMUNITY-DRIVEN MODERATION Filyy includes a community-driven flagging and moderation system designed to support respectful conversations. Any user can flag a post, comment, or message that they believe violates Filyy's Community Guidelines or platform policies. When more than three users flag the same content, it is automatically removed. If three separate posts, comments, or messages from the same user are removed within a 24-hour period as a result of community flagging, that user is automatically suspended from that Circle for 24 hours. Filyy may also take additional moderation or account-level action where appropriate. NETWORKING WITHOUT SOCIAL MEDIA PRESSURE Filyy is designed differently from follower-driven social networks. There is no pressure to build an audience or compete for popularity. A valuable idea should not depend on how many followers someone has. Filyy focuses on conversations, shared communities, relevant experiences, useful perspectives, and meaningful connections. PUBLIC AND PRIVATE CIRCLES Public Circles help users discover broader conversations and participate in shared-interest communities. Private Circles support more focused discussions among alumni groups, organizations, professional communities, teams, associations, and other defined groups. Filyy is built for students, alumni, professionals, entrepreneurs, mentors, organizations, and anyone who values meaningful networking and thoughtful conversation. No follower race. No endless scrolling. No unsolicited DMs. No dating or matchmaking. Just communities, conversations, shared experiences, and meaningful connections. Filyy — Your experiences built your network. Now discover it.
